What is PSAC?
PSAC (Politics, Sandwiches, and Comments) is a workshop for work-in-progress that spans the subfields of political science.
Introduction
PSAC workshop seminars feature draft papers from Cornell graduate students and faculty, as well as scholars from other universities. We seek out work representing an eclectic mix of research methods, spanning the qualitative/quantitative and experimental/observational gamut. These sessions allow students, faculty, and guests to engage in lively debate and discussion on diverse topics from different subfields in political science.
Who Can Participate in PSAC?All are welcome. Interested graduate students and faculty in any field are encouraged to join us.
When does PSAC meet? The workshop meets on Fridays from 12:15-1:30. Unless noted otherwise, sessions are now in White Hall 106. And as the seminar name suggests, each session features a light lunch of sandwiches, along with some chips, cookies, and soda -- and of course lively comments. For a detailed schedule, please consult the calendar.
